Trio Accused Of Credit Card Fraud

THREE people faced credit card fraud charges in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday.

Jian Ping Wang, 38, of Kogarah, was charged with importing prohibited goods, making a false instrument with intent and making or possessing an implement for making false instruments with intent.

Jesengar Pulinggam, 37, of Malaysia, has been charged with importing or exporting counterfeit goods and importing prohibited goods.

Gail Nicol, 32, address unknown, has been charged with possessing a falsified foreign government passport, making a false instrument with intent and making or possessing implements for making false instruments.

Police prosecutor Senior Sergeant Steve McGrath said the fraudulent cards could be worth $10 million to $20 million.

Nicol and Pulinggam did not apply for bail. Wang applied but was refused. All three will appear in Central Local Court tomorrow.
